Our overnight stay at Gothic House was delightful. The bedroom was cozy and comfortable, and we loved the central location. The staff were pleasant and welcoming, and they even had a good understanding of my husband's dietary needs. I would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay.

gothic house bed & breakfast was a delightful surprise. the location was perfect for our early morning start to catch a coach, and the continental breakfast was excellent. the staff were extremely helpful, and the decor of the room and entry hall was pleasant. can't wait to visit again!

My stay at Gothic House was absolutely wonderful. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and had a stunning view overlooking the churchyard. The location of the entrance right on the high street was incredibly convenient. The pre-arrival call and the warm welcome I received made me feel right at home. The check-out time was relaxed, giving me plenty of time to enjoy the delicious breakfast at the associated cafe/bar. The breakfast itself was top-notch, with a variety of options to choose from. I also appreciated the availability of parking nearby, which I could easily book on MiPermit. I had a perfect experience at Gothic House and would highly recommend it.

My husband and I stayed at Gothic House for a weekend getaway. The room was lovely and tastefully furnished, with a comfortable bed that provided us with a great night's sleep. The staff were amazing, very welcoming, and went above and beyond to help us, especially when we had trouble getting a cab. Although the hotel offers a lot of positives, some guests have mentioned occasional noise disturbances from outside the hotel.

We had a short stay at a charming B&B with a quirky atmosphere and friendly staff. The breakfast was fantastic and made with local produce. Our room was spotless, comfy, and beautifully renovated. We enjoyed the olive garden terrace and the bar downstairs. We laughed when we saw a graveyard outside our window, it added character to our stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious hotel in the heart of town centre. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The service was top-notch, and they even offered me a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival. The room I stayed in, called the Sackville Room, was absolutely stunning. The decor was exquisite, with beautiful Edwardian furniture, creating a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. The bathroom was simply magnificent, with a spacious layout and all the amenities one could ask for. The attention to detail was impressive, and everything was presented in an extremely well-appointed and comfortable manner. One highlight was the large bath and shower, which was big enough for two! I felt truly pampered during my stay.

Recommendation:

Located right in the center of town, Gothic House offers a convenient location for exploring the area. The spacious rooms were nicely decorated and featured amenities such as a TV and deep roll-top bath. The staff were friendly and eager to assist, with the manager even offering to help with our bags. In the morning, we enjoyed an amazing breakfast, which made for a great start to the day.

The noise from the bar could be quite intrusive, making it difficult to get to sleep early.

The terrace bar was a lovely spot for drinks, and the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the historic high street and its great shops and eateries. Parking was also conveniently available nearby. I would definitely return to Gothic House for another enjoyable stay.
