We recently stayed at a guest house in Silloth and it exceeded our expectations. The warm welcome we received from the proprietor made us feel right at home. The spacious room and immaculately clean en-suite were impressive, with everything we needed well-stocked. We especially appreciated the fresh milk provided for our tea and coffee. The breakfast, made with top quality ingredients, was perfectly cooked and presented. our experience at this guest house was excellent and we would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem called Green View during our visit to Silloth. the welcoming atmosphere and friendly service made us feel right at home. Our spotless and comfortable room had everything we needed, including a well-stocked ensuite. the highlight was definitely the fresh milk provided for our tea/coffee - such a thoughtful touch. the breakfast was a delicious treat with top-notch ingredients cooked to perfection. We also couldn't resist the tempting menu at the bistro, although it was unfortunately closed during our stay. Green View exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it for a unique and enjoyable experience.

The host was super welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, which was really helpful. the chef even stayed late to make me a delicious evening meal even though I only booked for B&B. the room, while small, was clean and comfortable, and I loved the sea view. the decor in the guest lounge and dining room was eclectic and fun, adding to the overall charm. the location was perfect for exploring the town and the beautiful West Cumbrian coast.

That the cycle storage was not covered, which would have been helpful for keeping bikes dry. Apart from that, everything was great!

I had a wonderful overnight stay at the Green View Guest House. The warm welcome and stunning sunset views made me feel right at home. The room was comfortable with thoughtful touches, and the Criffel Room had an incredible view of the green, Solway, and Criffel hills. The owner, Graham, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and his historical facts were a delight to listen to. The on-site restaurant, Stella's Bistro, served amazing food sourced from local ingredients. The made-to-order breakfasts were the perfect start to my day.

We loved the cozy, period-style room with ensuite shower and separate toilet. The guest lounge was comfortable and offered fantastic views of the sea and breathtaking sunsets. Graeme, our host, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcomed. The fresh milk provided in the in-room tea/coffee facilities was a great touch, much better than the usual plastic pots. The location, overlooking the green, was easily accessible and had curb appeal. The bistro menu was very appealing, although unfortunately, it was closed during our visit. the facilities, food, and host's hospitality were of a high standard.
