We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Hatsue Guest House. The location was convenient, with restaurants and shops just a short walk away. The host was welcoming and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless and well-equipped, with a tea/coffee station and even hot chocolate sachets. The breakfast was top-notch, with a variety of options including fresh eggs from the garden hens. The garden itself was a lovely spot to enjoy our morning meal. Despite a few minor drawbacks such as slightly dated decor and a small shower, we had plenty of hot water and a pleasant stay overall.

The shower in our double room needed repair. However, the shower in the single room was excellent.

For the price we paid, we got great value - the room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to town and other attractions. The staff, especially Hatsue, were incredibly friendly and helpful.
