Let's talk about the bright side. I must say, the value we got for our money at this lovely hotel was outstanding. The room was absolutely fantastic - warm, clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff treated us with great hospitality and provided all the information we needed.

Menu for breakfast could use a little improvement, maybe adding a wider variety of options.

The bed was the best we've slept in for quite some time. The location was perfect, as it was just a short walk away from the train station and a lovely riverside area. We also appreciated the easy check-in and check-out process.

We had a fantastic weekend getaway at Mill On The Exe. The rooms were beautifully furnished with no expense spared on the amenities. The Nespresso machine was a pleasant surprise. Despite not having a river-facing room, the overall stay was extremely comfortable. Having access to the pub through a separate entrance and allocated free parking made our stay even more convenient.

The room had a stunning view across the river, with comfortable beds and a cozy bay window with armchairs and a table. The pub itself had excellent seating areas both indoors and outdoors, and the food was really good. The location was great for walking into town or along the river, and parking was convenient just outside the rooms.

The room was well-equipped with a Nespresso machine and glass bottled water, and the large bed was very comfortable. the hotel had great free parking and nice riverside seating to enjoy the outdoors. the location was also central and easy to get around.

The shower was luxurious but seemed to use a lot of water, which made me worry about the environmental impact. While the staff were friendly, it would have been nice to know their names, perhaps through the use of name badges.

It's in a nice location within easy walking distance of the city center, allowing me to explore the sites of Exeter. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable and the facilities were top-notch. The staff were friendly and accommodating, tending to my every need. I also enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the adjacent pub, which served a wide range of meals at reasonable prices. a wonderful experience.

I recently stayed at the Mill On The Exe for a relaxing 3-night getaway. The large and comfortable room was very clean, with a comfy bed and plenty of wardrobe space. I appreciated the added touches like a coffee machine, kettle, and a log burning stove. The Dyson air cooler machine was a nice bonus. The bar had a good selection of real ales, and the food in the conservatory was a little above average pub standard. The highlight was the superb terracing in the beer garden, perfect for enjoying the location. The staff were pleasant and friendly, and the breakfast buffet followed by a choice of cooked breakfast was a great start to the day. it was a very relaxing stay.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay much more enjoyable. the room we stayed in was excellent, spacious, and clean, with beautiful furnishings. the location of the hotel was perfect, allowing us to easily walk along the river and explore the nearby areas.

There wasn't a reception or lounge area, which was a bit surprising. the pub/restaurant attached to the hotel was not ideal for guests, as it took a long time to get our meal even though we had pre-booked a table.
