I needed a place to stay near Snowdonia and couldn't extend my current hotel reservation. The Slate was a great find! The room had a comfortable single bed, a refreshing shower, and a blackout blind. The cooked-to-order breakfast was just what I needed and the staff were attentive. The hotel is in a fantastic location with ample on-site parking. The modern rooms and en-suite exceeded my expectations, and the communal areas were stylish. I especially enjoyed the selection of tasty starters in the evening. a great stay in a great little hotel.

The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. the breakfast was delicious and the dinner options were also very tasty. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. the hotel offered convenient parking right in front of the building, which was a great advantage.

The room we stayed in was quite hot and the provided fan was noisy, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. there was some noise from the nearby building fan, especially when we had the window open, which was a bit bothersome.

The hotel was conveniently located right next to a train line, which may have been a bit noisy at night, but it provided easy access to transportation. The room I stayed in had plenty of storage, a comfortable bed, and drinks making facilities. The bathroom was a decent size and tastefully decorated. The staff were friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent. There was also ample parking available.

The breakfast service was a bit slow, with only one person serving and replenishing drinks.
