Our room at Hertford House was warm and cosy with very little noise. The tea tray with hot chocolate and cafetiere ground coffee was a great touch. The helpful receptionist allowed us to leave our luggage in the cloakroom when we arrived early. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed watching the rugby world cup on the screens. Room 208 was nice and away from the noise of the bar downstairs.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The staff were very friendly and gave great recommendations for places to eat and visit. The hotel's central location made it convenient for wandering the streets, visiting the market, the castle, or enjoying the riverside parks. The location of the hotel was great. It was situated in the heart of the town, close to many pubs and restaurants. We had plenty of options for dining and entertainment within a short walking distance. It was convenient to have everything we needed within reach.

The noise levels at night were unbearable. We were warned by the receptionist that it would be noisy, but we never expected it to be that bad.
