High Street is a hidden gem in a fantastic location. the staff and services provided were brilliant, and the price was perfect. the beds in the dormitory room were arranged well and very comfortable. Lockers were also available in the room. the hostel's proximity to the Royal Mile and Waverly railway station was a major plus. the breakfast offered for just 1.9 GBP was excellent, with a variety of options available. I also appreciated the free luggage storage on the day of checkout.

We had an incredible stay at this hostel. Best aspects were the exceptional cleanliness, with spotless bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city center, with easy access to all the major attractions. We appreciated the free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, as well as the convenient lamp and socket near each bed. this hostel exceeded our expectations and we would love to stay here again.

I recently stayed at High Street Hostel for a few days and had a great experience. The location was perfect, just steps away from the High Street. The security was top-notch and I felt safe throughout my stay. The bedding provided was comfortable and the colourful and interesting room themes added a unique touch. The lockers, although not big enough for a suitcase, were free and spacious. The hostel also had excellent wifi signal and separate shower rooms and toilets on each floor, making it convenient for the 24 people sharing. a fantastic place for a short stay in the city.

As a traveler, I loved the friendly and helpful staff. The location was perfect, close to attractions and easy to find. The hostel had a huge kitchen and dining area with plenty of provisions for cooking. The dorms were spacious and there were lots of opportunities to make friends. We had a great time at High Street! The common areas were spacious and had plenty of activities for us to enjoy. It was nice to have options like snooker and board games available. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the city. Despite a few minor drawbacks like the small and chilly room, we still had a comfortable stay. we would definitely recommend High Street to others.

There were a few instances where other guests made us feel unwelcome with their rude behavior.

I even walked to and from Waverly train station with ease. the hostel created a fantastic atmosphere, with plenty of events that allowed me to meet wonderful people as a solo traveler. the staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. I would definitely stay here again if I find myself back in town.
