I recently had an enjoyable stay at this hotel, tucked away in beautiful gardens up a small hill. The location was perfect as it was set back from the hustle and bustle of the bar and restaurant, offering a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and provided great service, ensuring that all basic amenities were available. The rooms were well-equipped with clean and comfortable beds, including the option of a luxurious 4 Poster Bed. In the morning, the included breakfast was a highlight, with excellent sausages and a variety of options to choose from.

The main dining area, despite the current situation, provides a cozy atmosphere for enjoying delicious meals. The rooms are spacious and cozy, while the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. The friendly staff ensures excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast options are satisfactory, and we were pleased with the views from our room.

Some guests have mentioned that the WiFi can be slow, which might be inconvenient for those who rely on it for work or entertainment.

Spent Xmas at this hotel for two nights. The location was remote, but perfect for walking. The room was warm and comfortable, and the staff was friendly enough. Breakfast had a good variety, but needed to be hotter.

Decor was dated and tired, and the facility needed a little TLC. Furnishings were tatty in places, and the walls were paper thin.
