On a warm July night, my partner and I had the pleasure of staying at the Hillthwaite Hotel. The location was simply stunning, with breathtaking views of the lakes from our room's large full-length window. The comfortable bed and spacious room provided the perfect setting for relaxation. The bathroom was pristine, boasting a luxurious bath and a refreshing shower. The staff were attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a delectable selection of options. The hotel's facilities, including the small swimming pool and sauna, added to the overall experience.

There was one minor inconvenience - our room was located right opposite the communal ladies toilet, which occasionally caused some noise disturbance.

I stayed at this hotel and had a brilliant time. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and they made sure my stay was perfect. The location was great, with amazing views of the surroundings. Although it was at the top of a rather steep hill, it wasn't a problem for me as I didn't have any walking difficulties. The hotel had everything I needed, including a lovely terrace where I could relax with a drink in hand. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this place.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the modern yet cozy decor throughout the hotel, creating a luxurious but homely feel. The staff were lovely and always happy to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. The food was exceptional, with a menu that was on par with Michelin star standards. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we felt very cozy in our room. The hotel also had great facilities, including a swimming pool and sauna that we had all to ourselves. we had a fantastic experience and would definitely return.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing, as it didn't provide good value for money. For £10, I expected more than just one sausage and one bacon. The staff at breakfast were not very informative either, as we were left waiting for someone to assist us and had to help ourselves to cereals. The full breakfast order also took quite a long time to arrive, adding to the delay.

The location of the hotel was great and the internal decor was very nice. The swimming pool, although small, was ideal for a quick dip, and the steam and sauna rooms were a nice addition.

As a tourist, I absolutely loved the friendly and hardworking staff at the hotel. The public rooms were clean and had great facilities. The view from the hotel was lovely and the relaxed atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. The classic double room I stayed in was clean, with a nice bathroom, and although it was a bit smaller than expected, it had a lovely inner courtyard view. The restaurant had fabulous views and served delicious breakfast with table service. The evening meal was also very good. The hotel's location was convenient, within walking distance of the lake and train station. Free parking outside the hotel was a plus. The pool, although I didn't use it, seemed nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the fantastic location of the hotel, with stunning views from the outside. Another advantage was the great amenities, such as the powerful shower and really soft comfy bedding that gave us a restful and rejuvenating night's sleep.

our room looked out onto a car park and the only comfortable place to sit and read was on the bed in full view. It would have been much better if there were some net curtains to make the room more private.
