We had a great time during our New Year stay. The breakfast offered was excellent, with a fantastic range and generous portions. The location of the hotel was perfect, within walking distance of the main street and attractions. We also enjoyed the thoughtful extras provided, such as a torch, drinking water bottle, and umbrellas.

While the overall experience was positive, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The condensation in the shower room after taking a shower was excessive, even with the ventilator on.

We stayed for 5 nights in September and had a fantastic experience at Holly Lodge. The hosts, George & Jackie, were exceptional and made our stay memorable. The location was perfect, being close to the town centre and attractions. The breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice. Our room had a comfortable bed and a spacious walk-in shower. The private car park was a bonus. We would definitely return to this beautiful part of England.

Breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

The room was spotlessly clean and well-furnished, with comfortable bedding and plenty of towels. the hotel's location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, with several key attractions within easy reach. I especially enjoyed the complementary bottles of cold water in the room, which was a nice touch.

I found it odd that the breakfast items were cleared away while I was still eating, and on one occasion there were no teabags in the room. the breakfast menu didn't offer a choice of how my eggs were cooked, which was a bit disappointing.

our recent stay in alnwick was delightful and holly lodge exceeded our expectations! the location was perfect for visiting alnwick castle and gardens, and the reserved parking made our trip hassle-free. the breakfast was excellent and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

As bike riders, we loved the spacious and secure parking for our bikes, ensuring they were protected during our stay. The comfortable and spotless rooms provided a peaceful and quiet environment, perfect for a good night's sleep after a long day of cycling. We also appreciated the convenient access to a variety of books and magazines in the lounge, as well as the large TV for some evening relaxation. The breakfast options were outstanding, with excellent quality and a great selection to choose from. Lastly, the lovely garden sitting area was a wonderful spot to unwind and enjoy the fresh air.
