The staff were quick, helpful, and arranged a cab for us. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a bathtub. The bed was very comfortable. The motel layout allowed for easy parking. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The restaurant menu had a good variety and the food was well-cooked. The hotel is conveniently located for visitors to Durham. The room represented good value for money. The food at the restaurant was especially good, and we highly recommend the Durham cheeseboard.

I recently had a wonderful weekend break at this hotel with some great friends. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making check-in a breeze. The rooms were lovely, with pleasant views overlooking a beautiful field. The bed was super comfy, and the power shower was amazing. I particularly liked the separate bedroom for the children, as it gave us all some extra space. And to top it all off, breakfast was included in the price, which was a great value for money. We will definitely be returning and recommending this hotel to our family and friends.

The four poster room we stayed in was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The water in the taps was piping hot, but just be cautious. The hotel was easily accessible by car and there was also a bus stop right outside. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and the steak was cooked to perfection, with delicious homemade chips and peppercorn sauce. we couldn't fault this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, which felt like an American motel at the back of a good old English pub. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were great. There was plenty of free parking available, which was a relief. The location was ideal – close to the town center but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. There was a bus stop nearby that took me to the city center in just 5 minutes. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
