The staff were quick, helpful, and arranged a cab for us. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a bathtub. The bed was very comfortable. The motel layout allowed for easy parking. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The restaurant menu had a good variety and the food was well-cooked. The hotel is conveniently located for visitors to Durham. The room represented good value for money. The food at the restaurant was especially good, and we highly recommend the Durham cheeseboard.

I recently had a wonderful weekend break at this hotel with some great friends. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making check-in a breeze. The rooms were lovely, with pleasant views overlooking a beautiful field. The bed was super comfy, and the power shower was amazing. I particularly liked the separate bedroom for the children, as it gave us all some extra space. And to top it all off, breakfast was included in the price, which was a great value for money. We will definitely be returning and recommending this hotel to our family and friends.

All aspects of the hotel were more than satisfactory.

Our room was easily accessible with convenient parking right outside. There were plenty of nearby places to walk our furry friend and even poop bins provided. The kitchen staff went above and beyond by preparing delicious bacon and sausage sandwiches for us to take on our early morning departure. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short drive from the cathedral and botanic garden. The breakfast and food in general were excellent, with generous portions and reasonable prices. The staff were polite and friendly, making us feel right at home.

Although there was a slight smell of the previous guest's dog in the room, it eventually dissipated after opening the windows and door for fresh air. We were disappointed when the kitchen unexpectedly closed in the evening, leaving us without any options for dinner.
