I had a wonderful stay at this cosy and well-furnished accommodation. the central location made it easily accessible and the bedroom and bathroom were both very nice. the pub downstairs served great food and drinks. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. It truly exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it.

Stayed at the Hope And Anchor for a short break. Lovely village pub in a friendly area. Rooms were small but clean and well-decorated, with a comfy bed. Great Chinese restaurant and shop nearby. Breakfast was included and the bar host was welcoming and helpful, even made fantastic gin and tonic. Staff went above and beyond by making us food after the kitchen was closed. Outstanding hotel, delicious food, and a comfortable, clean room. Great location with free parking. Would definitely recommend and return. Thanks, Mathew and team!

Stayed for 2 nights over NYE, small quiet location and just a 5-minute drive to nearby towns. Very friendly staff, especially the young lad on the bar who made us feel welcome. Worth the money, small double room was cozy but sufficient.

The bathroom was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast provided a good variety and the bottomless coffee pot was a nice touch. The pub had a nice vibe and the evening meals were well-cooked and delicious. The efficient and friendly staff went above and beyond to fulfill any requests. It was evident that the management team had put a lot of effort into making guests feel welcome.

The noise from traffic and the bar could be bothersome, especially if you prefer a quieter room.

The hotel's affordability, along with the great value food and drinks, made it a really affordable trip. The location was also convenient, with other towns just a short drive away for more dining options. we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The shower in the bathroom had some temperature control issues, fluctuating between hot and cold. However, the modern and clean design of the rest of the bathroom made up for this minor inconvenience.

We had a great time at the Hope and Anchor in Flookburgh! Our stay was for two nights and we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly staff. The continental breakfast had plenty of options, although it would have been even better if the pan au Chocolat was warm. The cleanliness of our room and the public areas was impressive, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Despite the small size, the room felt cozy and the bathroom and shower were of good size. We were also impressed with the newly refurbished bedrooms and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The location was ideal, and having a restaurant and bar with a lovely beer garden was a nice bonus.

One aspect I didn't particularly enjoy was the noise level from the surrounding area. There were big noisy tractors and lorries passing by frequently, which could be disruptive and bothersome.
