We loved the central location, perfect for exploring all the attractions in York. The hotel had comfortable beds, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Felt like part of the family, no complaints.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, with all the main attractions in York within walking distance. We particularly enjoyed visiting the National Rail Museum. The staff at the reception were friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. The bed and pillows in our room were very soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Plus, the breakfast included a wide selection of options to choose from.

We loved staying here because it was right in the center of everything! It was on a quiet street, but still just a short walk away from all the excitement. The staff were super friendly and accommodating – they always had plenty of information to share about the city, and were very helpful whenever we needed anything. Plus, the breakfast was excellent and a great value for the money.

Although there were a few minor issues, such as a temperamental shower door and lack of certain amenities, they did not significantly impact my overall stay.

holiday inn york city centre exceeded my expectations in every way. the entrance and reception were beautifully decorated, the staff were lovely and friendly, and the room was spacious with a super comfy bed. the cleanliness was great and the breakfast selection had something for everyone. we will definitely stay here again when we return to york.
