The location of the hotel was fantastic, with all the main attractions in York within walking distance. We particularly enjoyed visiting the National Rail Museum. The staff at the reception were friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. The bed and pillows in our room were very soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Plus, the breakfast included a wide selection of options to choose from.

holiday inn york city centre exceeded my expectations in every way. the entrance and reception were beautifully decorated, the staff were lovely and friendly, and the room was spacious with a super comfy bed. the cleanliness was great and the breakfast selection had something for everyone. we will definitely stay here again when we return to york.

The hotel's location was fantastic, as it was right in the center of everything. We were able to walk to all the attractions and shops easily. The room was well equipped and spacious, with a large, comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and had a powerful shower. The staff provided excellent service, arranging help with our luggage and even extending our parking for free.

There was a rowdy pub nearby, which caused some noise disturbances during our stay.

As foreign tourists, we appreciated the helpful and friendly staff who were always willing to assist us. The hotel's location was ideal, with easy access to the city center, the York City Wall, and popular attractions such as the Minster and The Shambles. The spacious, clean, and comfortable room exceeded our expectations, and we were pleased to have the option to upgrade to a king-size bed. The opportunity to check-in early and use the luggage room after checkout was also convenient.

Had a great Xmas at this hotel with my family! We received a lovely welcome package for being IHG members, including a bottle of water and some snacks. the hotel is located close to all the major attractions and shopping areas, making it easy for us to explore the city. the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

The noise levels were quite high due to the thin walls and interconnecting doors. We could hear everything going on in the room next door, which was quite disturbing at times.
