I recently stayed at The Ro Hotel for a weekend getaway. From the excellent communication before our visit to accommodating our dietary restrictions, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, offering a stunning lake view. The little touch of heart-shaped biscuits for our anniversary was a delightful gesture. Despite the ongoing improvements with the new owners, we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We look forward to returning soon.

I cannot recommend this hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. We also enjoyed the free cookies that were provided. the hotel had a cute cat with a bow tie, which added to the charm of the place.

The decor was old-fashioned and drab, and the carpet was worn. the TV was ancient and only had four channels, and there was no remote control.

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The staff were lovely, especially a waiter called Jordan who made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, up the hill from the main town, giving us a beautiful view and a peaceful atmosphere. The room was clean and bright, with a big window to enjoy the scenery. We loved the comfortable bed and spacious bathroom, complete with a perfect bath tub. The hotel amenities were top-notch, from the welcome drink to the terrace with garden furniture. We also appreciated the ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities in our room. the service, housekeeping, and room amenities were all outstanding.

We couldn't fault our stay at all. This hotel is highly recommended to anyone seeking a luxury experience with enhanced comfort and quality services.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, which had spacious rooms and stunning views over the lake. The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff at the front desk were friendly and provided great recommendations. The location was central and convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the center of Bowness.

The breakfast, terrace, and friendly staff were great. The reception area with Christmas decorations was stunning. The view of the lake and mountain was spectacular. Comfy lounge/bar area. Plentiful breakfast after 9am. Management went the extra mile to rectify our complaint.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel in the center of Windermere. The best aspects were the modern reception, bar, and dining room, which created a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. Our spacious and bright bedroom had a large and comfortable bed. The hotel's location offered fantastic views, and we also appreciated the free car park. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had an enjoyable breakfast in the restaurant. it was a great experience.

We stayed here for Christmas and really enjoyed the complimentary chocolates and mulled wine upon arrival. the location was fantastic, only a short walk to the town centre and lake. the staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

The rooms were quite dated and had a musty smell. the breakfast was okay but could have been better presented.
