Our family trip to Sugar Mountain was fantastic! We enjoyed stunning views, a convenient location close to snow activities, and helpful staff. the updated kitchen and bathrooms were a nice touch. the indoor pool and hot tub were lovely additions. Our granddaughters loved the playground. Despite minor room updates needed, the overall experience was enjoyable, especially for snow lovers.

Staff is great, and the jacuzzi in the master bathroom is a delightful touch.

Our stay was very convenient due to the central location right at the ski area. We were surrounded by a breathtaking forest of different shades of green. We found everything we needed nearby. The room was comfortable and clean, and the view from the balcony was astonishing. Additionally, the kitchen was equipped with all the necessary appliances, which helped us prepare our meals during our stay.

There was a lack of air conditioning, which made the room stuffy during the summer.

The hotel is surrounded by a stunning green forest, providing a great view from the windows. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The location is ideal for skiing and is in close proximity to various attractions like Valle Crucis, Boone, and Beech Mountain. The condos don't have air conditioning, but the cool breeze from opening the windows and back porch doors makes it comfortable. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the great kitchen facilities that allowed us to prepare our own meals.

I always return for the holidays. Staff gave taxi tips first stay. Perfect spot: Wi-Fi, parking, gym, pool, Jacuzzi. Fun: table tennis, billiards, kids' play zone, board games. No pets, smoke-free rooms. All needs met, no regrets at all.

This hotel is fantastic! The location is perfect for skiing, as it's right up from the slopes. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are beautifully decorated and come with at least queen mattresses and numerous windows. Plus, the hot tub is a great way to relax after a day on the slopes.

The views from our balcony were absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the mountains each evening. The indoor pool was a great option on rainy days. we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Highlands At Sugar.

I had a fantastic stay in the mountains at this hotel! The location was perfect, right up from the slopes and surrounded by a beautiful green mixed forest. The room was spacious and had everything I needed, including a kitchenette, balcony, and flat-screen TV. The staff were friendly and provided great service. The leisure facilities, including the indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi, were a great way to unwind after a day of exploring the mountains. Plus, the free Wi-Fi and off-site car park were a nice touch.
