The hotel offers great value for money, especially considering its location next to a lovely pub in a quiet rural area. The rooms are basic but clean and include all the necessary amenities such as tea and coffee making facilities. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the bathroom, which was larger than normal. Additionally, breakfast was included in the price and although it was more of a continental option with limited choices, the coffee provided was a nice touch.

The Bears Head is a lovely pub with a 400-year-old charm and character. The food served in the restaurant is delicious, especially the offers they have on. The spacious and clean rooms come with tea/coffee facilities and a nice touch with a basket of "top-ups" like extra sugar, milk, tea, and coffee. The security arrangements between the hotel and the adjoining pub/restaurant are very impressive.

The walls and ceiling are quite thin, so neighboring noise like running water, flushing toilets, and footsteps can be heard.

The value for money was great and our room comfortably slept 4 people. The location was perfect and the staff were polite and friendly.

Spent Easter weekend at this historic pub. the room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and plenty of natural light. the staff was friendly and helpful. the breakfast was cooked to perfection and the traditional English pub atmosphere added charm to the stay. the location is ideal as it's only a short distance from a convenience store and lots of small pubs and restaurant in the town.

The Wi-Fi reception in the room was sporadic at best. the lack of proper lighting in the car park was a bit concerning, especially when arriving late at night.
