The location on the shore of Loch Insh was fantastic, providing beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful. Parking was available, making it convenient for guests. The breakfast included was very good, with a variety of options to choose from.

It would be better if there were more menu options at the hotel restaurant, as the nearest restaurant was quite far away.

The shower worked well and the bed was comfortable. We loved the fantastic views across the loch. The location of the hotel was great and the receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The buffet English breakfast offered a variety of choices and the continental breakfast selection was the best we've seen. Despite some minor inconveniences such as the radiator turning off early and the lack of toiletries, the value for money was unbeatable. I would highly recommend this hotel for its amazing location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms.

My stay at Insh Hall was more than satisfactory. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were excellent. Despite a small issue with the toilet seat, the handyman was quick to fix it. The heating was ample and easy to control, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the drying rooms for wet clothes, which were useful after water sports activities. The bar was quiet and the young ladies serving were friendly. The highlight of my stay was the breakfast, which was superb.

The location of the hotel was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of Loch Insh and surrounded by nature. the peacefulness and absence of traffic noise made it a perfect getaway. I loved the fact that there were plenty of children's areas and activities available, including a playground and a beach with lots of fun things to do. the breakfast at the restaurant was of great quality, and the view from there was just top-notch. the friendly staff and the availability of a drying room were definite pluses.

That our room didn't offer any view, which was a bit disappointing. the EV chargers were not working, which was inconvenient as we had to search for alternatives.

stayed here before in kincraig, but insh hall exceeded expectations. loved the location, clean rooms, and friendly staff. everything was value for money and the restaurant was amazing! definitely coming back!

had a lovely day trip in kincraig and stumbled upon this hidden gem. insh hall exceeded my expectations with its gorgeous location, right by the loch and surrounded by nature. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our activities enjoyable. the breakfast options were outstanding, with something different each morning.

The staff at Insh Hall were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. When I ran out of petrol, a kind member of the reception team followed me to the next station to make sure I didn't break down. The food was delicious and the water sports were a fun addition to my trip. The value for money was excellent and I can't wait to return next year. highly recommended!

Nothing that I didn't like.

During my stay at Insh Hall, I had the pleasure of enjoying the beautiful scenery surrounding the hotel. Although I didn't manage to spot any wildlife, the serene atmosphere by the water was a wonderful experience. The staff at the Boathouse restaurant were friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! It definitely exceeded my expectations.

Even though there were a few drawbacks, such as a small room and limited kitchen access, the overall stay was enjoyable. I appreciated the peacefulness of the location and the opportunity to engage in watersports.
