I recently stayed at a charming cottage in the heart of Derbyshire and had a fantastic experience. The cottage was immaculate and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were large and cozy, and the bathroom was spacious with a lovely bath and shower. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings, and despite being central, it was surprisingly quiet at night. I highly recommend this cottage for a cozy and enjoyable stay in Derbyshire.

I got great value for my money at Jewel Cottage. The room was cozy and well-equipped, with a fantastic shower and huge comfortable beds. The location was perfect for exploring Chatsworth and other nearby attractions, and the staff were incredibly helpful and provided useful information.

Breakfast choices could be improved with more variety.

A perfect home from home, well-equipped kitchen, excellent communication, close to Chatsworth House, good value.

All was perfect.

We had a fantastic Easter break at this charming cottage! The beds were incredibly comfortable, giving us a wonderful night's sleep after our adventures in the Peak District. The traditional decor and cozy atmosphere added to the overall experience.

The layout of the cottage. With the basement bedroom, it meant a climb of two flights of stairs to reach the toilet, which could be inconvenient, especially at night.

Good location. Quiet at night. Great pub nearby. Fully equipped kitchen. Blackberries in the front garden.

For the price we paid, we got incredible value with a beautifully presented cottage equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location was ideal, being centrally located and surrounded by peaceful surroundings. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, including a thoughtful welcome package.

The breakfast option could have been improved with a wider variety of choices.

jewel cottage in matlock was even better than our previous stay. the lovely little cottage had all the facilities we needed, was clean and cosy. the beds were huge and incredibly comfortable. the owner's helpful information made our visit easier. close proximity to town and attractions was a plus.

The parking could be tight for larger vehicles.

our recent stay in matlock exceeded expectations. the cottage was superb, and the owner's local knowledge added so much to our experience. everything we needed was provided, and the bottle of wine was a lovely touch. we can't wait to go back and explore more of the area.

parking was a bit tricky

The cottage had fabulous beds, a strong shower, beautiful decor, and a great location for touring the area. The finishing touches like brandy in the master bedroom and milk in the fridge were delightful.

We felt really welcomed, no complaints.
