I recently stayed at Kildonan Lodge for a few days while visiting Scotland. The house was incredibly comfortable, with spacious lounges both in the lodge and in the main house. The four poster bed was especially cozy, and the location was convenient for exploring the city. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety to choose from. The hotel's parking and proximity to a bus stop made getting around very easy, even late at night or on weekends.

The hotel had complimentary sherry and shortbread biscuits in the rooms which was a nice surprise. the location was great, close to shops, cafes, pubs, and the bus stop was just outside the front door. There was ample free parking available which was a convenient bonus.

The rooms were a bit small and cramped with limited space for luggage. the noise from the main road outside could be heard throughout the day and could be a bit distracting, especially for light sleepers.

Our stay at Kildonan Lodge was made extra special by the friendly staff. They were attentive and provided us with plenty of information about nearby facilities and parking. The staff even recommended a great pub for our anniversary dinner, which was within walking distance. We were delighted with the lovely bottle of wine they gifted us to mark the occasion. The hotel's tranquil setting ensured a peaceful sleep, and the breakfasts were excellent. We felt relaxed and at ease, thanks to the welcoming and helpful staff.

The breakfast served at the hotel is tasty and satisfying, perfect for starting your day off right.

One slight inconvenience is that the payment process is manually handled, requiring guests to personally visit the front desk to make the payment. This did cause a minor delay in our plans, as we had to allocate extra time to go and settle the payment in person.
