We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was nice to have the option to open the windows and let in fresh air, especially after staying in stuffy places before. The staff were all very helpful and we were able to check in early, which was a great convenience after a long day of traveling. The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is within walking distance of the castle and not too far from the center of the city. The hotel also had ample parking space and it was nice to have a garden area to enjoy a drink outside.

It was all superb.

Great location, close to the city center and within walking distance. the downstairs dining area and pub were comfortable and well-designed. It was nice to have dogs allowed in the bar. the English breakfast was good and the staff serving it were excellent. the ambience in the public area was pleasant, with cozy and warm surroundings. the background music was at the perfect volume.

The room was quite small, but still clean. the shower was lacking shelves for toiletries and a hook or rail for towels.

Great location with easy walk into town and good secure parking. Nicely renovated and comfortable rooms. Excellent facilities and on-site restaurant. Good standard breakfast. Friendly and informative staff. Clean rooms with friendly housekeeping team. Convenient for public transport.

I stayed at The Kingslodge Inn for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the location was very convenient, with parking available. The room, although small, was perfectly acceptable for my stay. The chamber maid even sorted out the lights in the cupboard when the batteries had gone. The breakfast was outstanding, and the room was comfortable with a good-sized bathroom. The staff was pleasant, helpful, and hardworking throughout my stay. Well done to them!

Would recommend this hotel.

The staff were friendly and provided good service, ensuring that all our needs were met. The rooms were clean and had good cupboard space for hanging clothes, which was a plus. The blackout curtains were really effective in keeping the room dark, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep.

Everything was ok and met our expectations.
