Impeccable service with friendly staff and breathtaking views from our room. Dinner was absolutely brilliant, and breakfast had excellent choices! The gardens were beautifully maintained, inviting for a peaceful stroll. Worth every penny! !

Some areas of decor could use a refresh, and a clearer check-in process would be helpful, especially during busy events.

A little more variety in the tea selection would be appreciated. and perhaps some updates in decor would enhance the experience.

the absence of a lift was quite shocking for such an esteemed establishment, and I can’t believe no one rushed to assist with my luggage. the mismatched tables in my room made it feel like a thrift shop, and I simply expected a complimentary welcome gift for my troubles but, alas, was left empty-handed. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

the long staircase was an absoluteley terrible surprise, not exactly welcoming for someone with my expectations. Also, seeing the back area while walking to dinner was just awkward, if you could even call it dinner. I almost thought about leaving a good review, but then. no complimentary upgrades? really? not impressed at all.

The absence of elevator access is a major oversight!!! Also, the upkeep of the exterior could use some attention. The restaurant’s bar menu lacks variety, and soundproofing is severely inadequate!!! Not to mention the confusing check-in process during events!!!

We were blown away by the food—lekker brekkie, especially the eggs Florentine! The staff were super friendly and really made us feel at home. The gardens are a lovely touch for a nice morning stroll, ja!

Only downside was the room was a bit small for my liking, but it was spotless, so can't complain too much.

Had a canny time here, like! The huge room had proper fab views of the hills, and the breakfast was cooked to perfection! Only downside was the lack of a safe in the room. Still, the staff were lovely and really made us feel welcome!

We stayed in two rooms, one being a suite which was immaculate and well-equipped for our family of five. The gorgeous surroundings made for a relaxing atmosphere, and the dining was top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, especially my mom's gluten-free diet.

My kids wished for a bit more variety at breakfast.

Breakfast, particularly the eggs Florentine, was a standout. Just a note, while the location is peaceful, the hotel does feel a bit removed from the town center.
