I had an excellent experience at Lancaster House Hotel. The breakfast selection was outstanding, with a wide variety of freshly prepared options. I was pleasantly surprised by the attentive service from the staff, who were among the friendliest I've encountered. As a pet owner, I was thrilled with how pet friendly the hotel was. I had a special time and would definitely return again.

Great location for the University of Lancaster campus. Short walk to most areas of the campus. Well-maintained hotel with tasteful decor and generally clean throughout. Comfortable rooms with tea and coffee-making facilities and delicious cookies in the morning. Convenient working spaces with sofas and chairs in the lobby. Friendly and attentive staff. Pool on the ground floor for guests to use. Pub area for light bites and socializing with colleagues.

Felt very welcome, no reason to complain.

We had a wonderful weekend at this hotel! the entrance and hall with the fire and tree created a cozy and festive atmosphere. the room layout was predictable and the bath size was generous, providing a pleasant surprise. We also appreciated the comfortable beds and the abundance of hot water. the location of the hotel was perfect, close to key attractions and within easy reach of public transportation. the staff, though lacking confidence at times, tried their best to be pleasant and accommodating.

the bath in our room didn't drain well and the plug couldn't be sealed properly, which was a bit inconvenient. My daughter's room also had issues with the shower pressure and temperature control, making it difficult to find a balance.

We were impressed with the warm and inviting atmosphere of the hotel. The festive decorations and cozy fireplace in the reception area made for a wonderful first impression. Our room was immaculate and well-designed, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The restaurant exceeded our expectations with its excellent food and varied menu options. The spa and leisure facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were always helpful and attentive. Considering the quality and service on offer, the value for money was exceptional. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The location of this place is simply stunning, nestled in a separate area from the main restaurant in lovely green gardens just outside of the university campus. The service provided by the staff exceeded all my expectations, with a receptionist who provided an excellent service and really knows the meaning of hospitality. The rooms were well appointed and clean, with all the necessary amenities such as heating, air conditioning, and a comfortable sitting area. I also loved the fact that they provided a welcome drink upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The hotel also offers a range of fantastic facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The spa lounge was incredibly relaxing and the garden area is a lovely spot to enjoy some fresh air. my experience at this hotel was exceptional.

If I had to mention one small downside, it would be that there were times when there weren't enough staff available. However, this should not deter families from staying here, as the hotel still provides wonderful service and the staff do their best to accommodate everyone's needs.

The New Year experience at the hotel was quite enjoyable. the staff were friendly and welcoming, making the check-in process easy. the hotel's location was convenient, particularly for attending events at nearby Lancaster University. the gym was clean and well-equipped, offering a great opportunity for a workout.

There were a few aspects that were not up to par. the bathroom had basic fixtures and fittings, and there were issues with the cistern, taps, and lighting.

The accommodation is conveniently located near the university. The building is charming and the rooms are exceptionally clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is delicious, and parking is ample.

The vegetarian breakfast was fantastic, and the service was incredibly friendly. The bread we ordered was bigger than expected, offering great value. The steam room and outdoor jacuzzi were luxurious, and the cocktails were a nice touch. The bed was spacious and comfortable. We also loved the beautiful building and grounds, as well as the convenient location. Every staff member we encountered was lovely, making our stay even more enjoyable.
