I had been longing to visit Langley Castle for years, and finally got the chance to stay there recently. It exceeded all my expectations. The location was perfect, nestled within 10 acres of beautiful woodland. The property itself was stunning and the converted stable block rooms were both comfortable and pet-friendly. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the heatwave. The complimentary coffee and cookies delivered to our room upon arrival were a lovely touch. The restaurant served outstanding food, worth every penny. The staff were friendly and the free guided tour of the castle was a fun and interesting bonus.

The conservatory was also very cold during our stay. However, the room we stayed in, the Cadwallader, was excellent and accessed via a spiral staircase. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay special. The food was also very good, with a good choice for breakfast.

We had an amazing stay in a truly unique location - an authentic 14th-century castle in Northumberland. The castle view suite we stayed in was beautifully restored and had a spacious walk-in shower.
