I recently stayed at a hotel in Carnforth and had a wonderful experience. The standout for me was the breakfast, with its wide variety of choices and delicious full English option. The hotel itself was airy and spacious, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, making me feel at home throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the lovely walks by the canal, with maps available at the reception to guide me along. I had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel located in a great spot for exploring the surrounding area. The room was comfortable and equipped with tea and coffee facilities, as well as nice toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast provided was delicious and filling, ensuring that I didn't need lunch. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Plus, the location was perfect for my needs, whether it was house-hunting or visiting nearby attractions.

The service during one evening meal was slow, which was a bit disappointing.

I had an excellent stay at this inn. the location exceeded my expectations, with a beautiful canalside walk nearby. the evening meal was good, and the breakfast options were above expectations with a lovely selection on the menu. I appreciated that my dog was well taken care of as well. This place was the perfect stopover between Scotland and Devon, and I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. The accommodation was spacious and modern, perfect for my partner, in-laws, and two dogs. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook a meal on our first night. The location was great, with beautiful walks nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The warm welcome from the staff made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, with easy access to the motorway and beautiful canal walks nearby. The quiet bedrooms ensured a peaceful night's sleep, and the modern and exceptionally clean rooms and bathrooms were a delight. The highlight for us was the amazing food - both the evening meals and the breakfast were top-notch. The staff, always friendly and accommodating, made our stay even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the plenty of parking available and found it to be good value for money. We would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Everything was fantastic.

We stayed at Longlands Inn & Cottages for a weekend getaway with family. The country inn had a vibrant atmosphere, well-stocked bar, and spacious rooms. The staff were attentive, and the restaurant served delicious food. The en-suite was clean and offered complimentary toiletries. The cottages next to the hotel provided privacy and the facilities were of high standard. The location near the canal allowed for lovely walks and the dog-friendly policies were a bonus. The shower was powerful and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

Great location near aqueduct, pub, and restaurant. Close to M6 for easy access to lakes, coast, and Yorkshire Dales. Ample parking, impressive decor, and friendly staff. Good selection of beers and tasty evening meals. Excellent value with clean comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast.

Plenty of parking available, which was a relief. the location of the hotel was also convenient, close to main roads and easy to find.

the WiFi did not work properly, causing inconvenience for a business trip. the room had dead flies, which was quite unpleasant and showed a lack of attention to cleanliness.

Great value for money, with comfy rooms and the added bonus of Netflix on the TV. The location at the end of the canal was unexpectedly lovely with a beautiful canalside walk. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast could be improved with darker curtains or blinds in the rooms to keep out the early morning light, as well as some measures taken to prevent birds from constantly flying into the bay window and potentially disturbing sleep.

Despite a couple of minor issues, such as noise from the bar on a Saturday night and a slightly late breakfast service on Saturdays, these did not overshadow our enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this hotel.
