We had a lovely romantic escape in a cozy lodge with stunning views of the surrounding hills and golf course. The lodge itself was spacious and well-equipped, especially the kitchen which had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The location was perfect as it was tucked away in a quiet and peaceful area, yet still close to the main street for easy access to shops and restaurants.

There were a couple of downsides to our stay. we were disappointed to find out that electricity had to be paid for separately, and the charges seemed quite expensive for just a few nights.

The accommodation appeared tired and in need of some updates, particularly in terms of décor and fixtures. Electric heaters in the lodge felt unsafe to keep on through the night to stay warm.

Clean and modern accommodation with ample space, suitable for families. Heated and covered balcony offers protection from the weather. Convenient location for ski resort. Two spacious and comfortable bedrooms with two good bathrooms. Beds are comfy.

Our stay at Macdonald Spey Valley Resort was incredible! We booked for two nights, but ended up extending our stay for an additional two nights. The accommodation was amazing, exceeding all expectations. The view of the mountains was absolutely breathtaking. The restaurant and swimming pool at the reception were both fantastic, with excellent service. The electricity bill for the four nights was surprisingly cheap compared to our consumption. The apartment had everything we could possibly need, and the leisure center and pool were top-notch, complete with sauna and steam room. The bedrooms were comfortable, and having TVs in each room was a nice touch. Parking right next to the house was convenient, and the outlook over the golf course and countryside was lovely. Housekeeping handled our minor queries quickly. a perfect stay in a great location.

The value for money at this hotel is exceptional. Considering the affordable prices, you get great value for what you pay. The attention to detail is also impressive. The hotel has clearly put effort into ensuring that the rooms are spacious and clean, with lovely views from the lodges onto the golf course and Cairngorm mountains. The location is ideal, with plenty of surrounding attractions to explore.

We had a great stay at this well-maintained resort! The location is stunning, and there is a good choice of accommodation. We especially loved the lodge with a sauna. The self-catering property was well equipped, and the blackout curtains ensured a good night's sleep. The resort also has fantastic onsite facilities including a swimming pool, steam room, and a restaurant. It was perfect for our family!

Stayed in a cabin for the weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and well-stocked accommodation. The view over the golf course was stunning and the location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center. The cabin had everything that was needed for a short break in the highlands. The grounds were well maintained and the staff were very helpful. Nearest shop was also close by.

The cabins could use a bit of modernization. Some of the furniture was dated and could be replaced.

This hotel is a hidden gem located in the heart of Aviemore. Set in fabulous grounds near the River, it offers stunning views of the mountains. The attention to detail is evident in the rooms, with creaking bunk beds off another bedroom for extra privacy. The basic amenities are provided, including laundry soap, and the breakfast is delicious.

All was well, nothing to complain about.
