Great countryside views and friendly staff. Loved the charming room with a comfy bed and lovely garden. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options.

The stairs were difficult to navigate with heavy luggage. There was no sign outside to easily locate the property.

We absolutely loved our stay at this lovely 17th century building, which was conveniently close to a National Trust property. The owners were incredibly welcoming and even prepared us a delicious evening meal at short notice. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views of the garden. The bathroom was modern and well-stocked with toiletries, and robes were provided for added convenience. We also enjoyed the option of having breakfast served in our room, which was of exceptional quality. The attention to detail, from the pattern in the butter to the extensive tea and coffee selection, made our stay even more enjoyable. The hosts were friendly and engaging, and the hotel was also dog-friendly, which was a huge bonus for us. we had an excellent stay at this centrally located hotel and would highly recommend it.
