What a wonderful stay at Magpies Lodge! We were warmly welcomed by the friendly couple who run the place and felt right at home. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with plenty of storage. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, and they even provided fresh milk and filter coffee. The location was peaceful and picturesque, with lovely grounds to explore. Having secure parking was also a great advantage.

I did find it a bit chilly in the room as I couldn't figure out how to adjust the heaters. However, I should have just asked the hosts for help, so it was more my own fault than a fault of the hotel.
