We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious and comfortable hotel. The location was perfect, nestled close to a charming pub where we enjoyed a delicious meal. The hotel itself is set in a beautiful village, offering a peaceful and secluded setting. The service was exceptional, with attentive housekeeping and a well-appointed room complete with ironing facilities, tea and coffee amenities, and a cozy sitting area. We also loved the option to relax on the terrace and enjoy the free Wi-Fi. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

What a wonderful stay at Magpies Lodge! We were warmly welcomed by the friendly couple who run the place and felt right at home. The room was immaculate and spacious, with thoughtful touches like a mini fridge. We were especially impressed with the delicious breakfast options, even catering to our vegan needs. The location was quiet and tucked away, ideal for a relaxing escape. We can't thank Kevin and Jane enough for their hospitality. The breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable. The location was great for day trips to nearby towns. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, always making sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

The room was not as clean as expected and the bathroom had a strange smell. The dogs were loud and barked often, which was annoying.

The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with plenty of storage. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, and they even provided fresh milk and filter coffee. The location was peaceful and picturesque, with lovely grounds to explore. Having secure parking was also a great advantage.

I did find it a bit chilly in the room as I couldn't figure out how to adjust the heaters. However, I should have just asked the hosts for help, so it was more my own fault than a fault of the hotel.
