Convenient late check-in, helpful host with great local restaurant recommendations. Room had a comfy bed for a good night's sleep. Good value for money. Walking distance to city center. Easy and affordable parking.

Cleanliness: Everything was very clean, from the room to the hotel facilities. Location for Chester centre: Close to the city walls and within a short walk of good restaurants, making it a great base to explore the city. Breakfast: A cooked-to-order breakfast was available, with a good selection of cereals, toast, fruits, and yogurts. Staff: The owner, Claire, was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to make sure I had a fantastic stay.

The location of the hotel was excellent, being as close to the city centre as you'll get. It made it very convenient for exploring the city and all its attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with modern bathrooms. The staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage after checking out so we could continue exploring.

The breakfast options were limited and expensive for what was offered.

I had a great weekend at Maison Claire. The location is fantastic, just a few dozen meters away from the old town. The room was really nice, with a comfortable bed and it was very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast, although a bit crowded, was good value and well cooked. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

lovely stay in chester recently. maison claire was a great find for me and my daughter. the pink and flamingo theme in our room was adorable, and we especially loved the inspiring plaques. super convenient location near bus/train station and town center. claire, the owner, was lovely and the cleaner was amazing. very clean and cozy. highly recommend!

Missing front desk staff upon arrival

The hotel was nicely decorated and had a Bible in the room, which was a nice touch. Its location was great; it was in close proximity to the main attractions and restaurants in the area. It was reasonably priced for the location.

The rooms were tiny and had no space to put luggage. There was no seating area, so we had to sit on the bed.
