The hosts at this hotel pour their heart and soul into running their B&B. They were very welcoming and helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble for everyone. the breakfasts were awesome, with plenty of choices and perfect poached eggs. the location is excellent; you don't need to use the car to get around, you can walk into town and to the nearby attractions easily. It's very good for exploring Northumberland, with various castles, country houses, and gardens in the area.
