mellington hall country house is a stunning stone house with elegant furnishings. our suite was superbly appointed and cozy, with excellent heating. the staff were all incredibly helpful and pleasant, and we enjoyed delicious meals in the dining room. the surrounding countryside is perfect for exploring, with the ancient offa's dyke running through the property. the location is quiet and peaceful, making it feel like a secluded retreat. we also loved the opportunity to spend time with tyvey, the adorable corgi with her diamond collar. overall, a beautiful and tranquil getaway.

We had a wonderful experience staying at a charming country house hotel in the beautiful Shropshire hills along Offa's Dyke path. The location was perfect, with easy access to the local vineyard and stunning views from the garden area where we were sitting. The room was beautifully decorated, the bathroom was immaculate, and the service provided by the staff was exceptional. The breakfast selection was delicious and the hearty pub-style food in the restaurant was a great alternative to the local pubs in the area.

It would have been helpful if there was a wine list available and the staff had more knowledge about the wines stocked.

mellington hall exceeded my expectations once again. this mini stately home is incredibly homely and dog-friendly. the customer service is fantastic, and sitting by the roaring open fire in the beautifully furnished great hall was a highlight. my bedroom was lovely, with a large en suite and a warm ambiance. will definitely be returning.
