I couldn't fault this guest house in any way - everything was top notch. The room was really comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect, with the beach and shops just a short walk away.

The hosts are friendly and the service is top-notch. The breakfast is delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. Plus, the guest house is close to everything, making it convenient to explore the area. I would definitely stay here again.

There is no sitting area in the room, but with so much to explore nearby, it's not a big issue.

Had a great Easter experience! Loved how I could order breakfast and it was cooked fresh. The room was very clean with all the amenities that I needed. Just a short walk to the beach and park which were amazing! , the helpful staff gave great suggestions for local attractions.

It was quite warm and there was no air conditioning in the room, but we managed with the fan provided. Walls were a bit thin so it was easy to hear other guests coming and going.

We had a great value for our money at Merriedale Guest House. The room was comfortable and had a lovely beach-themed decor. The breakfast experience could be improved by having a later time slot on Sundays, as 08:30 to 09:00 was a bit early for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marridale Guest House. The hosts, Brian and Janet, were incredibly friendly and kind. The breakfast they served was excellent, with a wide variety to choose from. The cleanliness of the entire place was impressive, everything was tidy and neat. The location was perfect, close to the beach and a nice park. Despite being close to the center, it was surprisingly quiet. The South West Coast Path offered a beautiful walk towards Brixham. We also loved the delicious fish and chips at the Brixham Harbour. a fantastic experience.

My recent stay at a guest house in a fantastic location was an absolute delight. As soon as I arrived, I was welcomed by a lovely couple who made me feel right at home. The room was impeccably clean, with the softest sheets that ensured a comfortable night's sleep.

We were pleasantly surprised by the stunning view from our room window, which overlooked the sea, beach, and Torquey. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. We also appreciated the on-site parking, making it convenient for us to explore the nearby high street and attractions.

That the room was quite bright in the morning, as the curtains did not block out the sunlight. It would have been helpful to have blackout blinds or curtains.

The hotel's location is perfect, as it is situated in a very quiet area yet only a short walk away from the shops, the seafront, and the beach. The rooms have all the basic amenities you could ask for, and there are plenty of little extras provided, making the stay very comfortable. The breakfast, made with top-class produce, is amazing with a perfect poached egg every morning.

The hotel is located just 5 minutes from the seafront and beach, making it incredibly convenient. Additionally, it is only a 3-minute walk to the main shopping street and the Train Station for the Steam Train to Dartmouth. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities provided were excellent. The availability of parking on-site was a major plus, especially considering the limited parking options in this city. The location of the hotel, within easy walking distance from the coast, was another highlight. The breakfast served was delicious, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
