The lovely 2 bed garden room at Midway in Watford was perfect for my children. the rooms had all the necessary amenities, and Sally was an excellent host. the hotel's garden area provided a relaxing space, and nearby landmarks like Burston Garden Centre and the Forties Experience added to our family bonding experience. the walls were a bit thin but manageable for a family stay.

What a wonderful place to be!! A lovely quiet lodge that was clean, warm, with a very modern up to date room topped off with excellent taste. Close to access to main routes in and out of London. 2 good bar/restaurants within easy distance from the location, and 6 mins from Warner Bros studios. There's also off-road parking available. 'Midway' is where I would book, if possible, when I'm next in the area. Huge round of applause for Sally, your host.

The breakfast menu could have been improved by providing glasses in the room for making tea or coffee, or even a wine glass. However, when we requested them, the owner brought them to us later in the evening when they were no longer needed.
