We had a fantastic stay at Monico Guest House. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly welcome by Ian and Sue. They made us feel right at home with their generosity and thoughtful gestures. For our wedding anniversary, they even left a bottle of wine in our room, which was a lovely touch. the room itself was spotless and comfortable, with plenty of space for our belongings. the breakfasts were absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of options to choose from and generous portions. We never had to ask for anything extra as everything was abundantly provided. the central location and reasonable price were also huge advantages of staying at Monico. we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

This hotel is excellent value for money. The prices are very reasonable and the attention to detail is impressive. The location is really close to Scarborough Stadium, which was perfect for me as I was attending a concert there. It is also close to a gorgeous park and the Scarborough Open Air Theatre. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean, with fresh white linen and nice little touches. The en-suite shower has good facilities and the breakfast includes delicious sausages.

The location is fantastic, as it is really close to Scarborough stadium, making it a great choice if you're like me and travelling to watch a concert. Not only that, but it is also conveniently located near both beaches and the Scarborough open air theatre. The rooms are squeaky clean and come with all the necessary amenities, including clean linen, tea making facilities, and a comfortable bed. The hosts are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast is amazing with a wide variety of options to choose from, including a delicious full English. there are little touches like plenty of tea bags and biscuits provided daily, as well as fresh toiletries each day and towels changed every two days.

The en-suite bathrooms are quite small due to a lack of ventilation and it can lead to the presence of some mould.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a guest house in Scarborough. the room I stayed in at the guest house was spotlessly clean and spacious, with a lovely en suite bathroom. I appreciated the thoughtful details, like the real wooden coat hangers in the room. the hosts, Sue and Ian, were incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. the breakfast was excellent, and I was still full until lunchtime! the value for money was definitely worth it, and I would happily stay at this guest house again.
