had a great day trip to corfe castle and found a lovely place to stay. room was clean, food was excellent, and staff went above and beyond to help us. definitely recommended to friends.

I had a lovely one-night stay at a beautiful English manor house near a ruined castle and steam railway. The room was cozy with a comfortable bed and a nice ensuite bathroom. The staff were welcoming and the restaurant served delicious food. The oak sitting room was a delight to relax in. The location was perfect for exploring the castle and taking a ride on the steam train. I would recommend this hotel for a peaceful and historic getaway. I had a great experience and would love to come back for a longer stay.

Poor reception upon arrival, staff attitudes were off.

I booked for my partner's 60th birthday and we had a free upgrade to a suite. The staff went above and beyond, providing balloons and champagne as requested. The dessert even had "Happy 60th Birthday" written in chocolate. The food in the evening was excellent and the interaction between the waiter and kitchen staff was impressive. The hotel had a warm and cozy vibe with a real wood fire, and the rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk to the castle and shops. we felt treated like royalty in this beautiful and picturesque building.
