My husband and I stayed at Newmans Hall for our wedding anniversary. We wanted somewhere quiet, off the track, and this was perfect. We had such a lovely and relaxing time, swam in the pool, chilled in the garden, and ordered take out. It was just what we needed. The hosts, Charles and Louise couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. Louise cooked up an absolutely cracking breakfast. We highly recommend this B&B for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The bedroom was comfortable and had everything we needed, there was a fridge in the room just for us. the best aspect of this place was the breakfast, which was delicious, with plenty of coffee on offer. the location was also great as it allowed us to explore the surrounding area.

This hotel was not a great experience for our romantic escape. the swimming pool was dirty and too cold to enjoy, very different from what we expected.

The large back garden was perfect for outdoor games, and the indoor swimming pool was a great bonus. The hotel's location, although a distance away from bigger towns, was excellent for visiting Lavenham and Long Melford, which were the main reasons for our trip.

The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating, catering to our dietary needs as a gluten-free, alternative milk drinker, and a vegetarian with fussy egg preferences. The house is situated in a peaceful and pretty area, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast, including a traditional full English option. The beautiful garden and convenient parking were definite bonuses to our stay.
