This hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. the value for money was outstanding - we got so much for what we paid! The prices for both the rooms and the meals were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and excellent service provided by the staff. Secondly, the location of the hotel was perfect for us. It was within walking distance of Chillingham Castle and there were plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. Plus, being opposite the bus station made exploring the area so convenient. Lastly, we were pleasantly surprised by the rooms themselves. They were spacious and tastefully decorated, with a smart new-ish bathroom that had a bath in the window bay. Although the bathroom was a bit cramped, it didn't bother us much. our stay at this hotel was fantastic and the breakfast was a great way to start our day.

We loved the unique and individually decorated rooms, adding character to our stay. The historic building's quirks, like crooked door frames and uneven floors, were charming. The staff were friendly and the location was great.

just returned from another fantastic stay in wooler and couldn't be happier with our time at the hotel. from the warm welcome to the spotlessly clean room, everything was perfect. the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. will definitely be back!

Had an amazing Easter break at this hotel! the room decor was absolutely stunning, with quirky touches and fairy lights surrounding the rolltop bath. the bed was super comfy and the breakfast cooked to perfection. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful countryside and nearby walks in the Cheviots. Plus, they had a dedicated parking spot right outside our room.

Only a couple of minor downsides. If you're a light sleeper, the noise from the high street on a Saturday night and the chime of church bells throughout the night might be a bit bothersome.

This hotel offers great value for money with its reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location, opposite the bus station and near to Chillingham Castle, is very convenient. Additionally, being close to restaurants adds to the overall convenience of the stay. The staff provide excellent service and the basic amenities are satisfactory. The rooms, although a bit cramped, are well-equipped with a shower and the breakfast served is truly excellent.

Our romantic escape was somewhat enjoyable as the breakfast offered well-presented quality food with friendly staff and the quirky clean room. the hotel was quite dog-friendly so our pet didn't feel restricted at all. the Tapas we ordered was a great surprise and the locals were friendly.

The lack of privacy in the room was a major issue as the bed was facing a fixed window looking out into the corridor which was used by staff and visitors for all purposes. the blinds provided did not offer enough privacy, and the only way to block it was to hang a towel over them, making us sit in darkness.
