Stayed at a lovely B&B called North Ings. Easy online check-in, ample car parking, and a free upgrade to a larger room. The owners, Max and Michael, provided excellent service and local knowledge. The rooms and en-suite shower rooms were immaculate with above-average fittings. The whole house was spotlessly clean. It was a short walk to the village center and a quick drive to Whitby or Scarborough. Breakfast was second to none. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

De beste aspecten van dit hotel waren de locatie en het uitgebreide ontbijt. Het hotel bevond zich op een steenworp afstand van vele historische bezienswaardigheden en op slechts 100 meter van een metrostation. Dit maakte het erg handig om alle grote attracties in de stad te bereiken. Natuurlijk was het ontbijtbuffet zeer uitgebreid en bood een scala aan zoete en hartige opties. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam en de kamers waren schoon en comfortabel.

As a light sleeper, I really appreciated the keyless system and individual heating thermostat in each room. The bed was super comfortable and the room layout was perfect. The bathroom was spacious and clean, and the shower was amazing. The staff were welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. The small touches, like complimentary drinks and snacks in the fridge, added to the overall experience. The breakfast was faultless, with high-quality ingredients and a great selection.

Though my stay was exceptional, I must mention a couple of minor drawbacks. the width of the bed being wider at the end than expected resulted in a small accident in dim lighting.

That the room was quite small, but it was still adequate for our needs. the village itself was small, so a longer stay might not be necessary.
