The location was convenient for the airport and we didn't hear any noise inside the hotel. the grounds were beautiful for walks. the leisure facilities were clean and the pool was a good size, with a sauna, steam room, and plunge pool. We got a good deal for our stay with dinner and drink included.

Noisy wedding guests really ruined our stay. Despite being in the old part of the building, the room was characterful and of a good size.

The room I stayed in was absolutely stunning, located in the west wing with a lovely balcony area. The hotel staff went over and above, providing exceptional service. The facilities of the suite were excellent, with plenty of space and separate levels, perfect for a family. The overall comfort of the hotel was excellent. The location was ideal, with idyllic grounds and easy access to both the Edinburgh airport and the city center. Additionally, the free parking and the convenience of being on the tram from the airport were great advantages. The breakfast provided was delicious, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

It truly felt like an oasis of countryside, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with a lovely sitting area and terrace to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The amenities provided were top-notch, from the in-room safe to the well-stocked tea and coffee facilities. I especially enjoyed the delicious dinner at the restaurant, and the lounge area was perfect for unwinding with a nightcap. my experience here was beyond my expectations and I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

The only “negative” thing I can say about this venue is that one member of the staff could have been more professional. However, this small hiccup did not overshadow the exceptional service provided by the rest of the staff.

The staff was incredibly courteous and helpful, especially with our toddler. We were impressed by their attentiveness and kindness throughout our stay. The breakfast selection was amazing and our son especially loved Maisie !

We stayed at a wonderful hotel for my 50th birthday and were upgraded to an executive room. the hotel staff were very accommodating and even sent up a birthday gift of fudge. the drive up to the hotel was beautiful and the location was convenient for the wedding we were attending. the reception staff were fantastic, allowing us to check in early. Our room was very comfortable with great facilities. the breakfasts were also fantastic.

Had an amazing time with wonderful staff and quality food! We booked an executive room for a night away and were surprised with a complimentary bottle of lovely merlot. The staff ensured that my entire gluten-free meal was perfect from start to finish. The fillet steak was incredible and the house white was of great quality. The bathroom and shower were amazing, and the breakfast options were fantastic, with fresh orange juice. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to return.
