We had a fantastic stay at this lodge. The setting was absolutely beautiful, with well-maintained grounds to explore. It was a quiet and peaceful stay, just what we needed. The hotel facilities were great, with cozy and comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast served was delicious, and we enjoyed dining on the veranda while taking in the stunning garden and stream views. The location was perfect, close to Lake Erie attractions and everything we needed.

The property was built in the 1940s and has been beautifully remodeled, keeping its original charm. the grounds are stunning, with a lake and trout stream where guests can enjoy activities like canoeing and fishing. the game room was an added bonus, with a pool table and games to keep us entertained.

The staff seemed to stereotype us as young people and treated us as kids without guardians. We also had an uncomfortable experience with the bathroom having a second entrance that made it possible for others to hear conversations.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Farrell House Lodge for a long weekend vacation. The owner, Doug, personally greeted me upon arrival and made me feel like a special guest throughout my stay. The breakfasts were outstanding, with a different menu every day tailored to guests' preferences. The serene and stunning 130-acre property offers tranquil walks along trout streams, clear waters, and picturesque views. The historic house, modeled after Southern plantation mansions, exudes charm and comfort. I can't wait to make this trip an annual tradition.

The common areas are cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing by the fire or playing board games. The rooms are spacious and the beds are incredibly comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. The attention to detail is impeccable, from the private bathrooms to the beautiful decor throughout the hotel.

We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing, thanks to the owner's generosity. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our dietary needs, providing a gluten-free breakfast that was delicious. The peaceful and serene atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax. We also took a ferry to Kelly's Island, which was a short distance away. We highly recommend this hotel for its beautiful location, excellent service, and comfortable rooms.
