We had a wonderful two-night stay at Old Captain Guest House. The twin bedroom with a private bathroom was comfortable and clean. The kitchen facilities were great, offering a variety of breakfast options. The location was convenient with private parking available. The hosts were friendly and provided helpful advice about the area. A special highlight was the campfire they organized, creating a lovely evening for guests to socialize. We would love to return to this perfect place in the future.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this guesthouse. The hosts, Sergej and his wife, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made check-in flexible for us, which was a great convenience. The room we stayed in, a spacious two-bed room with its own bathroom, exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and new, and we especially appreciated the warm temperature of the room. The location of the guesthouse, on the outskirts of town, provided a quiet and residential atmosphere. It was also a convenient base for exploring nearby attractions like Old Man of Storr and Mealt Falls. The hosts even provided disposable slippers, a thoughtful gesture considering guests may come back with muddy shoes. I highly recommend this guesthouse for its excellent service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location.

Our stay at the guest house was perfect. We arrived late, but the owners were expecting us and had everything ready. The house itself is lovely - clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Our room had a TV, ample storage space, and comfortable beds with two pillows each. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The living room had cozy couches, tables, and a TV and music system. The kitchen was well-equipped, and they provided a delicious free breakfast with a variety of options. We also enjoyed the lovely backyard and found the house easy to find. it was a wonderful place with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We had a fantastic experience during our New Year stay! the host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We loved the convenience of the self-service aspect, especially being able to use the kitchen to prepare our own meals. It was a great alternative when the local restaurants were fully booked. the self-service breakfast and tea/coffee options made us feel right at home. the location was perfect, just a short walk away from the town center and with stunning views nearby. the accommodation itself was clean, cozy, and exceptionally priced. We're already planning to come back next year!

the shared bathroom situation wasn't ideal, especially since it was right next to our room. This meant we experienced some noise from other guests using it.
