As backpackers, we loved the charming decor, comfortable bathroom, and generous bath amenities. The room also had tea/coffee facilities with instant Galaxy hot chocolate and cookies. The courtyard garden was a lovely addition.

Staying at One Holyrood was a great choice for our visit to the Isle of Wight. the location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the bus station in Newport. We stayed in a spacious loft room on the 2nd floor facing east, with a beautiful view of the garden and the sunrise. the room had a travel cot for my granddaughter, and the bathroom and shower were clean and roomy. the breakfast choices were plentiful and delicious, and we enjoyed dining in the lovely garden. the bed was very comfortable, allowing us to rest before our event. it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay at One Holyrood.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, with easy access to all parts of the island. We were able to explore Newport town and access everything we needed within a short distance. The room was lovely, with a beautiful view of the garden. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with a map for our walks. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast options and the relaxing lounge areas at the rear of the property.

The lack of storage in the room was a bit of a downside, making it difficult to access sockets and charge our devices.

The value for money was excellent, and the room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a unique, colorful style.
