loved staying at a lovely castle in small villages like tarporley. peckforton castle exceeded expectations, with huge rooms, incredible views, and delicious meals. staff were helpful, and the grounds provided plenty of insta-worthy spots.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious hotel set amongst woodland on a hill. The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful trees and nature. The service at this place was top-notch, with every staff member being incredibly friendly and accommodating. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome and offered a refreshing welcome drink. The housekeeping was impeccable, ensuring that my room was always clean and well-maintained. The room amenities were fantastic, including ironing facilities, a cozy heating system, and comfortable garden furniture. I also appreciated the little touches like the complimentary toiletries, electric kettle, and flat-screen TV.

I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends.

I always stay here because they gave me an early check in. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, free parking, 24/7 reception, a bar, a restaurant. flat-screen TV, lift, and hiking available. I will be back for New Year!

We stayed at Peckforton Castle for our first year anniversary and it was a treat. The highlight was the amazing bartender at the wine cellar who made the night entertaining with his friendly service and incredible cocktails. The hotel itself is beautiful, full of character, and the room had all the expected amenities including monogrammed bath robes and slippers. The bathroom was stunning with a roll top bath and large shower. The breakfast was the best we've had in a hotel and the building and grounds were absolutely stunning. There's even some fascinating history surrounding the castle.

The view from my room was stunning, as it overlooked the picturesque surroundings of the castle. The facilities at the hotel, including the spa, were top-notch and added to the overall experience.

One downside was that the afternoon tea served in the cafe did not meet expectations, as mentioned in previous reviews.

Spent New Year's Eve in a stunning castle with amazing surroundings! the room was spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. A great bonus was the walking trail directly from the castle grounds. the breakfast selection was excellent and had options for everyone.

The New Year's Eve dining experience wasn't ideal, as the menu options were limited. the drinks were also a bit overpriced, and we had to wait quite a while for service at times.

The ambiance and atmosphere were incredible, with the high ceilings, romantic fireplace, and heavy fabrics in my turret room. It truly was a unique and memorable experience.
