had a great time at tal-y-llyn. booked pen-y-bont based on reviews and it lived up to the hype. angela & brian were amazing hosts, even personalized our room with roses and wine. stunning lake view, comfy bed, delicious food. can't wait to go back.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely amazing, with breathtaking views over the lake. It was the perfect spot for walkers and tourists wanting to explore different parts of North Wales, as there were plenty of beautiful places within easy reach. The hotel facilities were great, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious, with wholesome, locally sourced food. I also loved the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel, which made me feel right at home.

Plus, the breakfast included in the stay had a good range of options for vegetarians, ensuring everyone's dietary needs were met.

The food at the hotel was excellent, with delicious home-cooked meals and a great selection of drinks. We especially enjoyed the Butty Bach beer. The hotel is perfectly situated, providing stunning views of the lake. We loved our stay and can't wait to go back.
