The communal reception area had a lovely ambience and the staff were friendly and efficient, as mentioned by previous guests. Additionally, the rooms were clean and comfortable, with ample storage space and a well-sized bathroom. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious options, such as sausage, black pudding, and scrambled eggs. it was a great stay with just a minor inconvenience of navigating the corridors.

I got really good value for my money at Best Western. The room was spacious with comfy beds and nice lighting. The location was great for exploring the city, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming without that generic chain hotel feel. Plus, the old part of the building has so much history, Tolkien even stayed there!

They helped to direct our visitors in a friendly and efficient manner, and even had a staff member available with a shovel to help dig pathways in the snow, allowing us to drive our car out of the car park. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, including free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. The dining options were also impressive, with a restaurant and bar/lounge area offering delicious meals and a welcome drink. we were extremely satisfied with our stay here and would highly recommend it to families.
