Lingering smell in the room.

The Prince Regent Hotel Excel offers great value for money with clean rooms and friendly staff. The location felt safe and secure, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, even offering to pay for the cash withdrawal fee when we needed to pay in cash.

The hotel is conveniently located with lots of food outlets nearby, including an Indian takeaway next door and a chip shop across the road. It is also a short walk from the DLR station and City Airport, making transportation easy. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, with amenities such as free wifi, a hair dryer, and an iron with ironing board. Guests can also help themselves to complimentary bottles of water, fresh orange, and fresh fruit. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service.

One downside is that the breakfast is served in a small lobby area, which may result in limited seating if everyone arrives at the same time.

During our romantic escape, we enjoyed the quick and efficient check-in process. the location of the hotel was ideal, being close to public transportation and attractions such as the O2 arena. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms.

We, as guests with disabilities, appreciated the friendly and fast check-in, clear instructions on room arrangements and breakfast, a warm and cosy room with a comfy bed, a substantial bathroom with a large rainforest shower. The breakfast included a cooked fry-up and optional cereal, fruit juice, and tea/coffee. The location was ideal for visiting the ExCeL centre and using the DLR into the city of London. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the complimentary fruit was a lovely touch.
