The hotel is in a great location with shops nearby and plenty to do. The rooms were clean and had all the basics needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. The restaurant served a good variety of breakfast options, suitable for both kids and adults.

The Pine Marten was conveniently located near the A1 and the Dunglass Estate where we attended a family wedding. The staff were friendly and patient, especially when we left the bar late on Friday. The rooms were surprisingly quiet despite being so close to the road. The beds were comfortable with crisp white bed linen, and the bathrooms were spotlessly clean with plenty of toiletries. Ample parking was available.

The staff at Marston's Inns went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. They were lovely and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The location of the hotel was also very convenient and we appreciated the ample secure parking.

One drawback we experienced was the road noise in room 20. It was quite noticeable and affected our sleep quality.

As longer-term business travelers, we appreciated the spacious and comfortable beds, perfect for a good night's sleep. The location was ideal, with easy access to the A1 and nearby amenities like McDonald's and ASDA. The buffet-style breakfast offered a variety of options, and the cooked-to-order breakfast was served piping hot on red hot plates.

Felt like our own home, no reason to complain.
