We had a party of 6 and stayed in three of the charming bedrooms at Queen Anne House. Each room had its own unique charm, and the one at the back even had a small garden room. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the en-suite bathrooms were spacious and well-appointed. The house itself has been beautifully refurbished to a high standard, and the decor is elegant and tasteful. We were particularly impressed with the large drawing room and the stunning garden. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, striking the perfect balance between being accommodating and respecting our privacy. The breakfast served in the grand dining room was exceptional, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Despite being on a main road, the traffic noise was minimal, especially in the evenings. The convenient parking situation was also a pleasant surprise. we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Queen Anne House to others.

We stayed in the Garden Room, which was a small suite with a comfortable double bed and high-quality linens. The room had a quaint bathroom with a deep bath and plenty of fluffy towels. The conservatory provided a quiet space to relax, and the garden area was lovely with a table and chairs. Margaret, the host, was welcoming and provided great recommendations. The breakfast in the stunning dining room was amazing. we had a delightful stay at Queen Anne House.

The room was on the small side and lacked seating for two. The bathroom had a small bath that may not be ideal for those with mobility issues.

stayed at a beautiful B&B in Portland and Queen Anne House exceeded expectations! Margaret was a fantastic host, giving helpful tips and serving an amazing breakfast. The room was cozy with thoughtful amenities and the location near the beach was perfect.

The breakfast was incredible, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The location was also convenient, allowing us to easily explore the city and enjoy all that it had to offer. Plus, the room with garden access was a lovely addition, giving us a private space to relax and unwind after a long day.

There were a few things that could have been improved during our stay. the room was quite stuffy as only one window could be opened and it was limited due to painting.
