I was pleasantly surprised by the clean and tastefully decorated room at Ravensworth House. The bedding and bathroom were immaculate, and the supply of toiletries and fluffy towels was a nice touch. The availability of tea and coffee making facilities with a choice of drinks and biscuits made me feel at home. Additionally, the helpful and polite owner and their teenage son made my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room itself was a disappointment. the advertised Jacuzzi bath was unusable due to black mold, and the TV was tiny and awkwardly placed.

Parking around the area was limited and on a disc basis, which could be a challenge during peak times.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location was perfect, with beautiful views and plenty of nice walks nearby.

The morning meal could have been improved by offering a wider breakfast window, as it was only available from 8.30 till 9. However, the fresh and locally sourced ingredients, restaurant-style ordering, and delicious filter coffee made up for it.

We also had a great meal in the restaurant on one of the nights it was open. this hotel provided us with a fantastic break and we would definitely recommend it.

We also had easy access to transportation and enjoyed exploring the beautiful Lake District. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a warm and cozy room that was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of freshly cooked options. a lovely place to stay.

We had a great stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was excellent, very central and close to everything in town. The room was clean and comfortable, providing all the amenities we needed like ironing facilities, heating, and a flat-screen TV. The staff was friendly and welcoming, offering us a refreshing welcome drink upon our arrival. We also appreciated the free toiletries and the electric kettle in the room. The hotel had a lovely restaurant, although we didn't have the chance to try it out. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this place to friends.
