The hotel is conveniently located near lots of good walks in the area. Next door to the Inn is a cafe which does an excellent breakfast. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and clean, spacious bathrooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is also a petrol station nearby for easy access.

Some minor finishes in the hotel, such as in the floors or bathroom, still need attention.

The staff provides excellent service and the basic amenities are well-maintained. The rooms have been nicely renovated and comfortably accommodate six people, with a sofa to relax on. The en suite bathroom facilities are acceptable and all the necessary facilities are provided. The breakfast included homemade products, with a variety of continental and hot options to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the delicious homemade bread.

Additionally, it is conveniently situated next to a stop for trucks, making it an ideal choice for those who are traveling by road. And if you're a football fan, you'll be pleased to know that it is within walking distance to Celtic Park, perfect for catching a Scotland-England match.

The dining area can sometimes be noisy, particularly during meal times when young children are allowed to run back and forth, causing a disruption to the overall dining experience.

We had a great stopover in a nice and clean place with a friendly owner. We got an upgrade and enjoyed a lovely room with very comfortable bed and well-stocked hospitality tray. the homemade continental breakfast was extensive and delicious. We also appreciated the free parking, easy to find location, and the fact that we had both free WiFi and Netflix available.

The bathroom flooring in our room was a bit shabby and uneven with duct tape holding some parts together. the shower room could have been better.

I recently stayed at Ballinluig for a weekend getaway. Sander at the front desk was incredibly helpful, providing us with excellent local tips and accommodating our early check-in. The room was comfortable, well-heated, and had thoughtful amenities like a powerful shower, charger sockets, and reading lights. Additionally, the breakfast in the tea room was delicious, and we were even allowed to store our bikes inside. The bar served great Guinness, and the locals and live musicians created a friendly atmosphere. a quality stay with all the extra touches.
